What do you think, is she playing dumb? If so why?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

It seems to me that this lady is smart but is really just playing a "role" or "character" on her program. I doubt she's as ignorant as she claims. I don't know if she came up with this character or if the Fox producers told her to act this way.

M$But, it may not be just trying to fit her market. Many conservatives, bible thumpers, etc. have decent college educations (although most of the voting block doesn't) and what seems to be happening is that their education is limited in scope. They seem to block out what they know whenever it contradicts one of their emotionally held biases. Also, note that Carlson did not get her Stanford degree in anything, but instead put together her own choice of courses. She only learned what she wanted to learn and probably has self imposed blinders on.
