Is Google Wave viewed as a threat to any aspects of Mahalo.com?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Actually I think that any social interaction community presents an opportunity to promote oneself and any pages that we manage on Mahalo. Google Wave gives us that opportunity and I, for one, will be making the best of it.

Not sure I can see the overlap between Mahalo and Google Wave. We're a search engine, knowledge exchange and content site with a strong community of freelance writer/researchers. They're a communication tool. I think Wave, if anything, is more a threat to chat and e-mail services.

I hardly doubt it. I don't believe google wave pays you for designing or maintain a page. Mahalo does, plus it's too much like a chat program. Too much interaction is wasting time.
