Is God going to retire?

"I've been at this a long time," said God, ∞, "And the truth is, this was never something I planned on doing forever. Lately, in fact, I've begun to wonder if I should move on sooner rather than later." (1)
God went on to say..
"This place pretty much runs itself by now.", "And besides, how many people still notice I'm around? To be frank, I'm not even sure I'm much more than a beloved figurehead at this point." (1)
While God has officially ruled out Him creating an entire new universe He did mention the possibility of acting as a consultant if another all powerful entity were to create a new and different universe, perhaps He would be a good judge of the dead, a performer of periodic miracles, or giving opinions on which new civilizations to wipe out with natural disasters.
God in His retirement has also expressed a desire to catch up on years of unanswered prayers and doing some traveling possibly to the Europe and the Vatican as he has heard "The Vat" is a beautiful place this time of year, another possibility would be to get to looking around His basement full of black holes as He has been wanting to do this for years.
In conclusion Gad said ...
"Maybe we need some new ideas around here," God added. "Maybe heaven needs some new blood."

M$It depends on how you define "God" and how you define "Retire"
When humans are extinct, God will have retired. When there is no one left to believe in him, the work will be done.
You could also think that maybe there will be a very evil period of time where God is not working for humanity anymore. You could say that God has retired then, but this is an opinion. Some view God as purely good, some view God as both good and evil, then still some view God as purely evil. So weather or not he has stopped working depends on what you believe.
So really this is only a question you can ask yourself or other people who believe exactly what you do. When God has stopped working for you or your church, in your opinion, you can consider your God retired.

M$Let me ask you--would you want to be forever creating and presiding over,as it were, economy meltdowns, corrupt politicians (and the good ones, too), wars, oil spills, disease, other natural disasters? Not be able to offer the answer to, "Why do bad things happen to good people?"
She's SO taking a flight to The Caymans as soon as she can.
