is food coloring in Popsicles dangerous?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

As far as I can tell, no. There is a list on the 1st website below that has the supposedly harmful dyes listed and none of them linked to popsicles. Though there are others who say any synthetic colorings cause adverse health reactions in children (see the second site on Feingold Diet).
Check the label to see if dyes are natural or synthetic. Food colorings have been around for so long I'd like to think it's one of the substances that the FDA has a pretty good handle on and would not allow anything into a kid favorite like popsicles that they were unsure about.
