Is Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas the BEST female dancer in the music industry right now??

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Fergie is a pretty good dancer. I was actually quite surprised when I first saw her dance (I think it was in the video 'My Humps') because I'd only ever heard her sing. However, as much as I think she's good, I think there are better female dancers out there. Beyonce is definitely a strong contender. And Britney Spears. Oh, and Shakira can definitely hold her own. I love her mix of her individuality, quirkiness, athleticism and culture in her dancing.

If Janet Jackson comes back with another album, she'll be formidable as she's an amazing dancer. I don't know if you know of a British singer called Alesha Dixon but she's an incredible mover. Christina Aguilera's pretty good and Missy Elliott's a real cool dancer. Who's that other lady's name, the one that sang Love & Sex & Magic with Justin Timberlake? Yes, Ciara, that's her name. Her moves are quite sharp, strong and defined.

Lady Gaga could be in there - I think she's a good dancer but I want to see more of her future videos before I assign her to my Hall of Dance fame!

Out of all the female artists I've mentioned, Janet Jackson and Beyonce, for me, are way out there at the top. Possibly followed by Britney. Beyonce's dance moves are extremely creative, very entertaining, trend-setting and well thought-out. She makes it look hard and easy.

I'm sorry but I can't see how Paris could have won a dance-off over Ciara. I just don't see it. What is more worrying though is how two grown women could reduce themselves to that. If the story is true, then it sounds childish and petty to me. (that's just my two cents, though)

Same thing about the dance battle Ciara lost.

Hi sirtalxalot. Will check out the answer you're referring to about Paris Hilton. I watched a recent program about her on ITV2 (a British channel) and she's not quite as fake as I thought she was. She's a very clever, independent and ambitious woman.

As to the response about Ciara: therealdeal30, you're entitled your opinion, as am I and everybody else. Different opinions encourage exchange, discussion and a possible opportunity to learn about ourselves and each other. I'm curious to know why, in your view, you feel she's a bad dancer.

Im not sure about Ciara, basing it on the rumors that she supposedly lost in a club dancing battle to Paris Hilton

I would say Shakira at the moment because I just saw her video, the wild fox or the wild something or other, and she was very athletic and fantastic.
