Is "Epic Beard Man" a hero, or a lunatic?

Last week, Thomas Bruso beat the crap out of a black punk on the AC Transit Bus, and ever since the Internet has been strongly debating whether he's a hero or zero. The woman, who filmed the whole thing, Iyanna Washington even needed to post a video reaction to defend herself, and yesterday, the man himself was interviewed on the street. What's your take on Bruso, is he a hero, or a lunatic?

Thomas Bruso your ordinary senior citizen by day. But your beat the crap out of a black punk on the AC Transit Bus "Epic Beard Man" hero if you try to mess with him. I do not think he is a lunatic but it sure pays to be nice to your senior citizens especially those who went Vietnam. Remember it is better to be piss off than to get piss on. This just goes to show how society treats senior citizens no respect what so ever. I personally feel that what Thomas did was right. He has all right to defend him self if provoke or attacked.

life is full of odditys like this,as people get old they in themselves dont age,then suddenly they look around and see all the youth and realize they are now part of an older society,for a man like him with a tough background his youth was a defence and so when in his older years faced with a threat from a younger man he tried to defuse the situation first with a mixture of bravdo and reason,when this failed he tried to walk away without losing dignity,Toms not a hero in the archetypal sense of the word and at the same time he is neither a lunatic,i think he is a tough old boy who stood his ground,the other guy Michael clearly thought Tom made a racist comment (wrongly) and objected,so both were hero's to their ideal's if only from different perspectives.
