Is Eddy Curry the biggest disaster in the NBA?
The last two years for Eddy Curry have been tragic: sexual harassment lawsuits, stickups, murders, showing up out of shape and now he's broke?

The problem lays with the NBA and the team owners. They are so focused on the player's physical health and ability to play they forget to take care of their mental health and ability to live a good life.
Most player contracts include "morality clauses," but the behavior these clauses are meant to prevent are things such as " riding a motorcycle, playing tackle football, snowboarding" or other things that could harm their bodies.(1) They really don't appear to care about the real immoral behavior that the NBA players exhibit.
I think players should be required to take classes on money management, self-discipline and anger management as part of their being on an NBA team. This would help reduce such behavior in the future.
