Is eating a raw vegetarian diet hard on the stomach?

I'd like to start eating a good deal more of raw foods (not meats). I know the vitamins and minerals should be a degree better. I do think that in order to eat the raw foods, that I need to buy organic. However, I am a bit worried about how these foods will sit on my stomach. Sometimes I get sick after eating a fresh salad. Would this be the case with eating a lot of raw fruits and vegetables?

your body as not been adjusted to the raw materials. its looks like you eat more of non-veg than veg. i am veg myself and eat a lot of raw food and i had no problem.
don't start a diet of raw food at once you will surely be effect. instead try to increase the quantity of raw day by day so that your body gets adjusted to it. (every one needs time to adjust so do the body)

To avoid any upset to your digestive system, take things gradually.

· Go "high raw" first - add raw foods in to your current diet.

· Eat a raw food breakfast first.

· Then move on to a raw food lunch, and then supper.

· Don't feel guilty if there are times when you don't follow the diet perfectly.
