Yeah, this guy is getting huge; however, there is speculation that the whole shabang is a hoax (i.e. Photoshop). Blogs have replaced all of the heads in the front row with Cigar Guy to show how easy it is to alter an image. I think it may be fake (good editing, but fake).

As has been stated above Cigar Guy has been exposed as Photoshop job. After exhaustive searching on the internet I managed to uncover the original image which I have posted below.

I would say that he would be a phote bomb. Unlike many photo bombers, he is going to be noted for a very long time due to the fact taht this photo is going down as one of the best sports photos of all time.

I have a strange thought that there are going to be a lot of guys dressed like Cigar Guy for Halloween. Just think about it. The costume is simple. All you need is jeans, a sweatshirt jacket, a fake stash, and a big cigar. It could be one of the cheapest costumes that we have seen in years.

I also expect there to be a lot of copycats at PGA and other sporting events in the near future. So many people will try to pay homage to this guy while trying to steal a little bit of his thunder.

I also expect to see a bunch of pictures popping up online where Cigar Guy is cut out of this picture, and inserted in others. I am just waiting for the picture of how Cigar Guy was standing behind FDR, Stalin, and Churchill at an infamous treaty signing.

Unlike Crasher Squirrel, I can see Cigar Guy blowing up even more. Also, with teh fact of how popular this picture is, there is a good chance that his 15 minutes of fame is going to last for a long time.
