With just over 1.3 billion people (1,330,044,605 as of mid-2008), China is the world's most populous country. Imaging if every Chinese Family have a 2nd children, the popular will double, it's horrible! Plus a family couldn't afford more than one child in China. Many family would love to have only one child.
