My guess is that when we have This Week In's sales and tech team in place there might be some ways we can partner on things. For example, Leo and I could do a show around some tech vertical, sell the ads together and do mega-distribution.
Right now Leo is miles and miles ahead of what I'm doing on every level ($1.5M+ in revenue for Leo and only $300-400k for our network, millions of listeners for his network with only 100k's for mine). Two years from now I think Leo will be at $5M in revenue and we will have $3-4M. At that point the combined companies would have close to $10M in revenue and be very valuable.
Of course there is a LOT of work between then and now. Also, Leo would have to want to join forces and my guess is he is having the time of his life doing what he is doing. There is no real reason for Leo to sell or merge his company unless he wanted an exit.
So... we can all speculate a bunch but the truth is we are both two guys who love working together and who both have a passion for independent media.

M$But, despite his "gambling personality," buying Twit would be extremely expensive, and I doubt he would attempt to buy it as an individual. He doesn't have Mark Cuban money.
And even if he sells Mahalo for 60+ plus million, he still won't have Mark Cuban money. Even if all the companies he invested in do extremely well...even if This Week in Startups takes off crazily... he still won't become a billionaire. No, if Jason Calacanis wants to become a billionaire (and have enough money to buy the Knicks), he's going to have make a very specific type of investment.....and invest in the company I'm building.
