Is bisexuality a myth?

As a bisexual, I have come across many arguments about bisexuality - that it doesn't exist, that it's an excuse to have multiple partners at the same time, that it absolutely does exist, etc. What do you think? Is bisexuality a myth?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

multiple partners? huh? I define bisexuality as being attracted to both genders sexually. Bisexuals are neither more nor less promiscuous than h**o or heterosexual people.

I certainly do not think it is a myth. I think in the spectrum of sexual attraction it is probably the most common of the three choices

Bisexuality is liking both males and females.
And it is not a myth. Lots of people are like this. I have a girl in my English class that goes both ways. But its also is true that some people arent pleased with having one partner so they need several. Which is not good but very possible. This mostly happens with guys.

No. To even ask that is absurd and even bigoted. Look up the "Kinsey Scale"-this information has been around since the late 40s!!! I don't understand why people want to constantly pretend like they know more about someone else's sexuality than that person! It's absurd and really, really sad!

If you read the question, I said that I AM a bisexual, so it is nonsensical to say my question is bigoted. I was merely trying to generate debate and conversation.
