Is BioShock a scary game to play?
Is it one of those games that is made to scare you?

Bioshock as a whole is not really that scary. There are a few horror elements in the game and some suspense here and there, but it is still mostly an action type of First Person Shooter game. Real examples of games created to scare you include Dead Space, the Fatal Frame games and the Silent Hill series. Bioshock does not fall into the same category as these games so I can assure you that you won’t find any real scare tactics in this one.
Minors though may find the game disturbing to play as some situations in the game are more in line for mature gamers. Minors though shouldn’t be playing an M-rated game like this though in the first place so I guess that shouldn’t be an issue.
