Is Bing the newest search engine?
When was Bing launched for public use or how old is it? Are there any other search engines on that are new on the market that I may not have heard of?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Bing is more of a renovated search engine than entirely new. Microsoft owns Bing and it
is known as "MSN Search," "Windows"Live Search" and "Live Search." Bing was released on May 28, 2009, during the "All things Digital" conference. This was done by Steve Ballmer, Microsoft's CEO. However, it was not released available online until June 3, 2009. Bing has a distinct factor that is it is based on Powerset's semantic technology. This technology is based on language recognition. This is where search suggestions are made to the user. Their slogan is "Bing & Decide." Yahoo! Search as of July 29, 2009 will now be the powered by Bing.
There is a new search engine called “Scour:”

Scour will bring up all the results from all the other search engines. It also pays their users for search made on their engine. I have used it sporadically and it seems to work ok.
