Is anyone else as craptastically happy as we are that we can now stream Netflix on the Mac! Merry Xmas, eh!

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Yes, I'm happy about this development. But until I get a Mac Mini for the living room it's not going to get used too much.

And now I find that many movies on our 2.2 GHz Intel MacBookPro don't even work without lagging and stuttering. Blah. :(

Yeah, later last night, I fired up our old PIII, 933 system we've had connected to our TV for the multimedia experience. It downloaded silverlight too for us, and immediately stuck us with a herky jerky framerate, and broke our actual experience. *damn* The Microsoft DRM giveth and the Microsoft DRM taketh away. Now, we're back to deciding if we want to hook up the laptop every time, or watch herky jerky movies without the cable swapping hassles *sigh*

I myself am not a Mac user, but a good friend is, and I know that he is probably nearly as happy as you are. Not quite though, for he broke down and bought a PC for certain functionality.

It's totally not fair that Mac users get the short end of the stick on certain softwares. But then again, it was what, two years before iTunes was available on PC?

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
