Is anyone else annoyed when they click on a Mahalo link and it takes them to Conundrumland?

Several times I have clicked on what I thought was a Mahalo answers link and it has taken me to Conundrumland. They ask for my zip code, yet they don't say why. Does this annoy anyone else?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Accidentally clicking the Conundrumland questions used to be a "gotcha" for me but now I have learned to be more careful as I am reading the question. You will find that all Conundrumland questions will be labeled as such it just is not so easy to see at first.

I think you might get used to it as I have and maybe grow to even enjoy some of the Conundrumland questions as I have too. The zip code as mentioned above is a legal issue in the United States but a user can be from anywhere and any 5 digits will do .. 90210, 00000 etc.

For a Mahalo user, conundrum is basically just Mahalo. It's run by Mahalo. You can log in with your Mahalo account.
They ask for your ZIP because Conundrum is actually a wine company, and legally, you have to be of legal age to consume alcohol to access the site, so they look at the laws where you live and make sure your of appropriate age.
It will say in the "about" line if it is a conundrumland question, so you can either avoid them or answer them the same as any other question.

I think this is confusing for new users.

I too was confused at first. But I enjoy some of the questions. They seem to be more thought provoking, whereas the Mahalo questions seem to be more fact based that experience and personal opinion based. It's like a tree branch. It may look different from the trunk, but the bark is the same. ( Corny I know, sorry, it's late in New England)
