Is anybody aware of a fast open source search platform ?
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

Wikipedia has a list of open source search enginges. Some of them are for searching the web some of them are for searching your own website and some of them specialise in searching documents (for example Lucene)
