Is ADHD a dangerous problem for children?

Does ADHD have any negative physical effects on my child's neurology? Will ADHD have long term effects on my child's development?

No, it is not to severe. As you child gets older the ADHD should go away

As someone with ADD and someone with a child with ADHD, I would not hesitate to say NO. It isn't something that affects their neurology, it is their neurology. They will learn to adapt to their situation, and you should do whatever you can to help that. People that do not adapt well need to stay on medication. If you choose to ignore it completely then you can have some issues. For example adults with ADD and ADHD are much more likely to get speeding tickets and also may find it harder to keep a job because they will be late often. If you help your child learn strategies to help, this things won't happen.
