Is a gift card to the movies for my new girlfriend a good gift?
So, for christmas people had new girlfriends and got them jewelry and i got mine a gift card to the movies, with all of the other peoples gifts are making me think i got a bad gift....did I?

It depends on the girlfriend - does she like the movies? And how well you know her, jewelry if it's cheap is a bad gift and if it's expensive is a little inappropriate for a "new" girlfriend. Wait until you know her better.
