Is a contract valid if you use your short name instead of your full birth name. my full birth name is Seamus but everyone calls me Shay.

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

It's still valid. There's no way for the state to require your literacy, so anything you put down that you say represents you does. Like in the old days, they would just say "make your mark" and a person that could not write their own name would merely "X" to represent themselves.
