Is a 6000 line question too long?

I need help with some C++ code, and "snippets" aren't really appropriate, since the whole trouble is trying to find out where the problem is. Is it too much to paste the whole thing up here?

And if I do post it, can I use the code tags?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I would suggest using http://pastebin.com/ .

Then link to it here.

Pastebin is the way to go. Be sure to include a working makefile and a listing of the dependencies. You may have some trouble getting someone to debug 6000 lines of code unless you put in a substantial tip or the problem is extremely simple.

Here's what I would do if I decided to answer the question.
I'd download the code and compile and run it to see if I could reproduce the problem. How long I'd spend trying to do it would depend on how large the tip was.
