You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Both are these doses are roughly equivalent in their effects. Lorazepam is considered more "potent" so about 10 times less is required. It should however be noted that Valium (Diazepam) has a much longer half-life of roughly 20-100 hours vs. 6-12 hours with Lorazepam. This means that generally it does not have to be dosed as often. Because the drugs are different some effects may very by individual and should only be adjusted by a qualified medical professional.

This answer should NOT be considered medical advice. These drugs are controlled substances in most countries including the US and their misuse can be fatal.
