Tip for best answer: M$0.25

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Hi Please see my video answer to your question.
Basically, yes, it is a US postal code. The extra 4 digits specify the location more accurately, usually down to a city block or building. Amazon.com uses, and is good at figuring out these codes.
The postal code you gave looks like it's for a mall http://bit.ly/d81p0V
Hope that helps

Yes it is. Some years ago The US Postal service started using an optional extension and they call it "Zip + four" . You can use it or not, it's your preference.

Here's a link to the US Posta service info on it.

Yes, this is a US postal code. The first 5 digits are the traditional zip code (of Fargo, ND) and the next 4 digits "identify a geographic segment within the five-digit delivery area" that helps the machinery sort your letter for faster delivery. You don't need to add the +4 digits when sending your letter, but adding them aids the proper sorting of your mail for delivery.
