My best friend is Iranian and from what I hear from her and her family, the best case scenario would be for the people to somehow get rid of this regime and form their own democracy, but at this point it's too early to tell.
If I had to guess, I would say there will be continued protests and violence towards protestors until a major event happens ie. the military moves in or they stage a coup of some sort.

Maybe I am still a little gun shy from our previous administration. Boy I hope so.

I am afraid this will lead to a International military force being deployed to "restore order" and by that I mean an invasion to dismantle an adversarial government that is in charge of a very large amount of oil and install the government of our choice. Maybe I am still a little gun shy from our previous administration. Boy I hope so.
