Otherwise, I could be wrong as I am no apple expert. Your best bet would be to contact Apple support for something so specific.

How can I get my iPod alarm to go off the way I want it?...
I own a "Jensen Universal iPod Docking Music System." I want to be woken up to music in the morning. I have done this in the past, but the only way I've figured out how to do it is by turning on the iPod's music in the evening, having the music play all night with the dock turned off, and having the alarm go off in the morning thus turning on the music. The problem with this is that it messes up my "Play Count" section on iTunes. I'm very picky about this, as I'd like the "Play Count" section to be as accurate as possible. (Notice the major gap between play counts in the image below.)
So, is there any way to have the iPod (Touch) turn on at the same time as the alarm so that the "Play Count" won't get messed up? I'm guessing that the answer is "no" so could someone suggest an iPod dock that can do what I have asked for?

The problem is with your dock and any is that when a song is played off your ipod, be it playing as an alarm or just when you playing it. It will "mess up" your play count.
