iPod Touch video importing help?

I have downloaded the movie The Dark Knight from an undisclosed source that is not iTunes. The movie then appeared in my 'Recently Added' folder of my iTunes. At that time it was in mp4 format. Then I right-clicked on the video and clicked the option 'Convert to iPod Touch/iPhone version'. After about 8 hours of loading it finally finished. Now I have the exact same video in M4V format, yet I still cannot drag it from my Library OR my 'Recently Added' folder onto my iPod Touch. Can Anyone help me with this? Oh and by the way it does not sync with my iPod Touch even though it is checked
Tip for best answer: M$5.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

This question is going to be tricky to answer for anyone that can't look over your shoulder, and try things.

But my first thought is: How big is it? Are you sure there's enough room on the iPod for the movie?

Music will sync first, and if that doesn't leave room for all your video, some of it won't be copied over. If it took 8 hours to convert it, that sounds like one hefty file.

Other things to check out....

- When you say "checked" are you talking about the main Movies list in your iTunes library? In that case, what about the video sync setting for the device itself? Do you have "Automatically include all movies" checked or unchecked there? Do you have it set up there to only sync some movies, or selected playlists? (Btw, that would be common because movies are so big, there's not usually room to put them all on your iPod)

- Does the M4V play in iTunes on your computer ok?

- For that matter, did the MP4 play alright with whatever other media software you had to check it with?

Hopefully one or other of these questions will lead you to the solution.

Feel free to come back with more info, follow up questions, or feedback on what happened when you tried those things.

According to any-video-converter.com, kindly follow the following steps in importing your video to iPod Touch.

1) Press the Sync button under Summary tab. This will sync the videos as well as other items like music, TV shows, podcasts, audiobook, photos and applications;
2) Under Movies tab, select Sync movies > All movies, and press Sync button;
3) Under Movies tab, select Sync movies > Selected movies, choose the video in the pane, and press Sync button.

Don' t worry,you can use an ipod computer software to help you .
With ipod computer transfer software , we can solve the problems easily and quickly.
It can transfer songs, videos, photos, play lists, podcasts and more from your iPod to PC, iPod to Mac, Mac to iPod, iPod to iTunes.
I have used a software before which is easy to use , easy to download and install. Most of all, its price is considerably reasonable.

I do hope the site can give you some clues ,you can have a try, I bet you will have a unexpected surprise. Good luck to you!
