I know people who have owned iPhones eversince and never complained anything about them having overheating issues.

M$But iphone or another phone may be explode for using unauthorized battery and other components.Because they are not can make combination to work with other components.

I'd like to know a lot more before I believe that there is a real problem.
In my experience the devices only get warm (and not hot even then) when they've been running an intensive application for a long time. And that doesn't happen when they're in your pocket.
Btw all the cases mentioned seem to be about iPods not iPhones.
But Apple is not winning any friends by how its handling these cases.
