In my experience, not all direct questions show up in history. Sometimes they go through ... sometimes not. Not all page edits for that matter (e.g., delete a video link because the video has been removed) show up on the page history.
Sometimes contact@mahalo.com responds in a day (1 in 10 times I'd say) ... other times I've never gotten a response. There isn't a tracking function like if you'd ask an open question that would generate a history.
Perhaps a feature should be anything sent via mahalo.com/contact goes straight to your history so you can point it out. Just a suggestion since the history page already exists (e.g., contact with Mahalo is just like any other question rather than going into an email inbox).
