DICE stand for Dynamic Itemset Counting Engine. This repeatedly visits the web pages and counts certain occurences of certain set of words as well as the individual words on that set. The number is small enough to fit in the memory.
From time to time, for example in every 500 pages, DICE reconsiders the set that it is counting. It discards the set with lowest and replaces them with other sets.
