Are there any web sites that contain repositories of mnemonic devices?

I have some mnemonic devices, and I'm looking for a website that focuses on them.

Memory-building is something that interests me too! The ability to focus on remembered things can really help a person in daily life. Mnemonics can help us to achieve better use of our memories.

1-"The Oxford dictionary defines a mnemonic as "of or designed to aid the memory". The word is derived from the name of the Greek goddess of memory - Mnemosyne. You see the Greeks thought so much of the ability to memorise that they worshipped it in the form of a goddess. I have covered the sophisticated mnemonic techniques elsewhere but each of the items below is a simple popular aid to memory that we can all use straight away."

This U.K.-based website is very comprehensive, including many hundreds of subjects and memory aids supporting several international languages to help children to learn and memorize: visit Project Happy Child.

Adults can improve their memories using methods and techniques found at the business-focused website "MIndTools" on the web page called
2- "Memory Improvement Techniques" http://www.mindtools.com/memory.html

I like both of these websites, because they provide mnemoics in direct ways. I will be reading the sites and using them too, being committed to improving my memory even moreso!

• Thanks. I was actually trying to find web sites where users were posting mnemonic devices.
