I visited the site - there is nothing to suck you in when you get to the front page.
How about this: on the front page put up a common item (like an iphone or something) and have it say: Review this product, right now. Have a box on the front page where they can review it without ever leaving the front page.
Give people points for reviewing things and show a leaderboard of most prolific reviewers. Maybe give away a free itunes card for the first reviewer who reviews X items, or reaches X points. Reviews are SEO gold and will get you some great traffic.

Make the three boxes: compare/review/shop save clickable. When you click on compare it should take you to a comparison tool. I couldn't even figure out how to compare.
How about add some video reviews... even if you just embed videos from youtube. Put up a bunch of featured video reviews on the front page.

Other than that it's a pretty vanilla online store. Give the user a reason to come, browse and come back. Maybe do a daily below cost sale (like woot). You could even do something crazy like blendtec - have a weekly sale and start a video podcast where you blend/burn/destroy the item that's on sale.

Last but not least, I know those rendered stick people are cheap on istockphoto but seriously hire a graphic designer and get some good looking graphics for the front page.

On and one more suggestion. I'm no SEO expert, but I'm sure google is penalizing you for keyword stuffing - the "Top Searches" at the bottom of every page. I would dump that and focus on getting original content (reviews)

hey thanks for your constructive criticism... i appreciate it.. we actually have been working on the site over 10 months, between design and functionality so that kind of hurt lol. But I definitely will take it with a grain of salt and do what i can here.

Ps: Top Searches: is actually something a lot of people do... it directs people to links inside the site. its called deep linking. Other then that your suggestions are definitely doable and I will try my best here. I especially would love to make those icons on the front clickable... its just i got so many other things i would like to do, there is only so much time in one day.. But I will eventually get to it..

Thanks So Much for your Input, Mike !
