I would look into podcasting. Depending on the genre of your novel, will depend on where you would go, as far as promotion. I would seriously look at how Scott Sigler promoted his novels. I have included a couple of links for you to review. Sigler, Philleppa Ballentine, Mur Lafferty and Tee Morris have all released novels for free online, either in podcast format, pdf or both. In addition, they interviewed with a variety of other podcasts within their genres exposing their names and books to a wider audience. They have all had success to varying degrees in promoting their books this way.
Good luck.

What are some options for promoting a soon-to-be published novel online? Looking for both free and paid options.
The book is due to be published in the next few weeks. In the interim I am looking for ways to promote it and get some exposure on the web. I would obviously love to keep costs down, but I am looking for as many ideas as possible.
