How to choose an internet marketing service ?
I need an LA based Internet Marketing services to assist my online business, espcially seo services can be provided. My friend introduced a seo comany to me, he said that's great, which named Cybertegic(http://www.cybertegic.com ),is there have more companies to choose from?

As many SEO companies would love to accept your business, the responsibility falls upon you to do your due diligence in determining the right SEO to work with.
Google’s Webmaster help page provides the following questions can be used in your SEO vetting process.
“Can you show me examples of your previous work and share some success stories?
Do you follow the Google Webmaster Guidelines?
Do you offer any online marketing services or advice to complement your organic search business?
What kind of results do you expect to see, and in what timeframe? How do you measure your success?
What's your experience in my industry?
What's your experience in my country/city?
What's your experience developing international sites?
What are your most important SEO techniques?
How long have you been in business?
How can I expect to communicate with you? Will you share with me all the changes you make to my site, and provide detailed information about your recommendations and the reasoning behind them?
Be wary of SEO firms and web consultants or agencies that send you email out of the blue.
No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google.
Be careful if a company is secretive or won't clearly explain what they intend to do.”
I realize that proximity is a criteria, but understand that highly qualified SEO companies who may serve you better are sometimes located outside your immediate vicinity.

There are plenty of companies to choose from. Why do you require the company to be LA based? Especially if your business is virtual...if you want the face-to-face interaction, there are plenty of outfits that would be happy to fly out to see you. Let me know if you would like some recommendations outside of the LA area.
By simply Googling "internet marketing services" you could get a lot of search results! I suggest you should get a list of everything first. Then check the pros and cons of each company. Consider their achievements and check their qualifications. Just a suggestion - I have been in partner with these guys for search engine placement and IT managed service
