What is a "fishtail swag"?
A colleague mentioned she was looking for a fishtail swag to go on her bedroom windows. I was too embarrassed to admit it, but I have no idea what she was talking about...

A fishtail swag is simply put... a window scarf. A hook is placed on each upper corner of the window.. This long Lines scarf is draped over the hooks... It is called fishtail because of the angled cut of the fabric on the bottom ends... The outside edge is longest... then angles upward in the center. The scarf lays on in folds.... ...They must be lined as the lining will show as the scarf folds angle upward.

Thank you. That gives me a much better picture. When you say "must be lined as the lining will show as the scarf folds angle upward" did you mean must NOT be lined. I'm still trying to picture that.
