If you're looking for an architect, Farhad Ashofteh has done a ton of work for my parents. He does a great job and was the architect for the redesign of our kitchen. Let me know if you're interested in contact info or anything else.

Also know of an awesome cabinet guy who did our kitchen cabinets in addition to our custom TV cabinet and slide out podium for our 50inch Elite. His name is Barry Beltrame (951-600-3826), really does great work.

For builders, Kavin Construction seems to be one of the go-to westside high-end builders. There are a couple really good others, too. Architect depends on style of design, I think - the best in one style may not be the best in another.

Edifice Architects in Claremont. http://www.edificearchitects.com talk to Ignacio Sardinas. They are awesome!

They do design/build so you only have to hire one firm. Licensed architects and contractors.
