Ink Blot: What do you see?

First thing that pops into your mind! Then you can elaborate and maybe share some insight into what you saw or the idea of ink blots themselves :)

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I see that woman singer from south America who used to wear big earrings and big hats made of fruit, and who got paradized in the Chiquita banana commercials.

The two blotches in the upper-left and upper-right are background chorus singers, and the largish blotches to the lower left and lower right are dance boys wearing conical hats, on their knees, looking up towards her as they lift her off the ground, with their mouths open in song.

The two smaller blotches at the bottom are spotlight-shadows on the floor, showing that she's lifted off the ground.

I can always see stuff in inkblots and clouds and stuff like that. When I was a kid I used to watch the TV channels that had no station and were therefor just showing all that random snow, and I'd see moving objects pop in and out of what I would sometimes see as a cosmic play (it was more interesting than what was on any of the channels).

It's never been explained to me why it matters if someone can or cannot see stuff in inkblots, much less what the stuff they see is supposed to tell the psychologist about the person.

I seriously see nothing. I always fail ink blot tests. I'm too much of a realist. I don't like abstract art either.

Nope, it's got a name. Some kind of spatial perceptual thingy. I just see ink blots. I also cannot see animals in clouds. I just see clouds.

I laughed when I read this, I thought I was the only person to ever literally fail an inkblot test.

I see Marge Simpson dancing -attired in an afro and native costume. Bart and Lisa who have on headless costumes are dancing on each side of Marge. The two blots at the bottom are Homer's feet (in Duck slippers) as he is watching Marge dance. Where's Maggie? Sleeping cuz she's too little for all this partying! DOH!

Inkblots are fascinating. I play the same game with the clouds. What do you see? This is so much fun on cloudy days. Sort of the inkblots of the sky :)

A couplr of tint mittens with sleeves ereaching for a seemingly huge rose.

A couple of seahorses back-to-back..

A couple of vague could-be continents.
