October is a quite month in Bali, so if you like peace, it is a good time to visit Bali. Rainy season has just started though, but it doesn't rain for long. Because it is not a hectic tourists seasons, you will find cheaper Bali hotels, and everything else too.

By the way, I'm Indonesian and have visited Bali twice.
