In your opinion what is/has been the most effective gym routine? Either for you or someone you know?
15 minutes on the cycle
15 on elliptical
30 on Treadmill
What were your results? Did you lose weight quicker?
Any suggestions would help. I'm looking for new routines so I can try and find one that suits me best!
Thanks!
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Once warm up is complete (usually 10-15 minutes) I begin using a machine that works upper body, completing one set. Next I go to one that works lower body, completing one set. I continue this routine til I have completed three sets of each exercise. It keeps things moving and adds a little variety to training.
Finish things off with a mile or two on the cycle and you're good to go! This is a great routine to keep 3 times a week. It has helped me feel more energetic and definitely more fit!

M$My best recommendation would be to gain muscle. By gaining muscle you burn calories, and the more muscle you have the more your calories your metabolism uses each day, creating that caloric deficit (as long as you eat healthy). This doesn't mean you need huge muscles.
As far as eating is concerned you need to eat as much whole foods as you can, ideally 90% of your food intake. Whole foods being chicken, turkey, eggs, nuts, fruit (berries), vegetables, etc. Nothing processed.
