In this recession, do you think it is worth it to use a service like Teleflora as opposed to your local florist?

Is it worth the money to order flowers when you can probably buy an equally nice bouquet through your local florist?
Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I believe in circulating the money locally. I want local businesses to thrive which means they'll return the money which means the area will thrive.

myself would rather fork out the cash to a local florist  and pick it up myself, rather than any internet abided business. Saves time, and money. Hence no delivery charge or credit card fee,  but thats me.

I work for a "local" florist. Teleflora is out to help the locally owned florists. They send the order directly to the shops and do not take a fee other than the delivery charge (which is also sent to the local florist). While I encourage everyone to contact their local florist directly, please do not mistrust Teleflora....it is all the other internet & phone "florists" that will steal your money.
