In the Windows Registry, what does
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows
\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\
do?
There are a list of domain names in this Registry Entry and I want to know if this is a list of blocked websites or not.
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

It is the sites to zone assignment list. Basically, you will notice entries in there with values from 1-5. The number is the security setting (or zone) which applies to that particular site. For instance, if you have mahalo as a trusted site, it would be a one. If you got redirected to thisissomesickpornstuffwithtubgirl.com, and set it as restricted so it couldn't install all the malware, then it's number would be 5.
Items are automatically added here by a lot of anti-malware programs(spybot's teatimer, adaware, etc). You can delete it which will set you back to defaults, but you would have to start from scratch with your protections again.
