in terms of body language what does holding your left forearm with your right hand mean, when in an L shape?

Tip for best answer: M$0.10
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Any kind of arm crossing could mean a defensive position. It could also represent anxiety. What you are talking about seems like a less defensive/anxious position than crossing the arms in front of the body.

It could also represent a restraint. If this person was a left-handed person, perhaps they're restraining the urge to strike.

It could also be a self-affirmation sign - "I am here."

It depends on the person and the culture they were raised in and the culture they currently live in
