In Talisman Desktop 3, how can I create a script that displays the local IP address?

Please be detailed, I'm pretty new to this!
Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

dope, script! sorry.

I dont know what script language you want to use, so I'll assume that you will be using the windows shell. You should be able to type out some file called ip.bat and put in there this one line:
ipconfig -a
and save. double click that file, and it will tell you your ip. Otherwise, you can do this:

else...

I have never used this product, but I would assume that you could press the window key (botom left on your keyboard, looks like a funny flag with a cirlce) +r (window key and r at the same time). That key combo should bring up a window. type cmd and then press enter (or click ok). this should bring up another window, or a shell prompt. (if you know how to get to the shell, you can ignore all the other stuff I said). type "ipconfig -a" and then enter. This should display your ip address.

Theae instructions appear to work also, and have pics: http://www.wirelessforums.org/how-tos/how-find-ip-address-windows-xp-14744.html
good luck!

These solutions tell me how to find the ip in windows, not how to create a Talisman script to do so - which is what the question was.
