Sayid is killing out of grief and vengeance after Nadia is killed. Ben tells him he knows who is responsible for Nadia's death, and give Sayid the names of those people. So Sayid goes out and kills each of them to avenge Nadia.

Does the reason for Sayid's killing - matter? Revenge is the worst reason to murder. Sayid seems to be a killer: cold, impassionate, and efficient
How many others did Sayid kill?

Anybody can become a killer if given the right motivation. He doesn't start killing until he finds out that Nadia's death wasn't an accident and that she was actually murdered. So, no I don't think that he is a "killer at heart". I think he's pissed off and heart broken. And no I don't think this defends his actions, it just explains his actions.
Don't ask a question if you feel like you already know the answer. I don't understand your hostility to my answers today.
