in halo 3 > forge> scenery> the alien (purple/see through/plasma?) can not shoot through gate/door thing i can not find it no matter what mt

In Halo 3 Forge Mode, the scenery objects you are referring to are called Shield Doors/Walls. They can only be selected on certain levels (Covenant ones for sure), but in using the map Sandbox (Downloadable Mythic Map) you can use just about everything to meet your forging needs.
