In early England there was a book created which listed all goods owned by the people, what was it called?

I believe you may mean the Domesday Book which was a detailed survey of 11th century England to help the Norman administration. It mostly covered southern England and was wriiten in Latin. It was call Domesday because it was a final judgement or Doom.
