In Cribbage, after you have played the first hand, do you use all of the cards to deal the next hand or are the cards played set aside?

You gather all of the cards and deal again. Ever hand dealt should have a full deck of 52 cards to start with. In a two player game each player receives 6 cards and puts 2 into the crib. In a three player game each player receives 5 cards and puts 1 into the crib with 1 card also being dealt directly into the crib. In a four player game each person is dealt 5 card and each places 1 into the crib.
