Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The domain and range are found in a function or set of functions. The domain is all of the x values and the range is all of the y values. No part of the domain can be 0 or have a negative value as a root. So, let’s say you were give the following coordinates: {(1,4),(2,5),(2,-6),(7,8)} Your domain would be the given x values, or: {1,2,7} (notice that you don’t have to repeat multiple values). Your range for the given coordinates would be: {4,5,-6,8}. In calculus, you would first have to solve your problem to find your domain and range. At the end of your problem, the domain would be each x value that you could use to solve your problem and the range would be each y value that you could use to solve your problem. There are some great interactive math solvers on the ‘net if you need more help!
