Also I would like to add, focusing on the eyes gives you the critical hit damage; but you will also need to take out the Rakks the Rakk Hive spawns, or the kamikaze ones will make of you short work. If the Rakk Hive is a way higher level than you, chances are you won't be able to take him on without godly weapons for your level and health to back them up. I would recommend tackling this quest when you are a level above or more than the Rakk Hive if you're having trouble beating him. In this game a level more than your opponent is a world of advanced damage and resistances to thier attacks.
