I'm wondering is diet can help to cure fibroids?
Here they say that it will http://www.tinyurl.com/cmg8c4

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The site you link to is not the most reliable site in the world. There are a lot of things I do not like about the site. First, it makes you enter your e-mail address to enter the site. Second, when you go into the site, the information says it is provided by a kinesiologist. A kinesiologist is not qualified to diagnose or treat disease. They mostly work in fitness or ergonomic areas.

Also, the site is claiming a lot without a lot of backup. That site says "doctors don't know anything about fibroids" and "my sister was cured by" so and so, but it does not give proof. Also, as much as I really like to read personal accounts and stories, they are not the best evidence because they are very subjective. They can be helpful if there is also research and statistics to back it up. The site does give a few statistics, but they don't say where the statistics are from or how the research to get those numbers was done.

Even so, this does not mean that diet cannot help fibroids necessarily. It just means that page in particular is not good evidence, IMHO.

The Mayo Clinic site, a reputable medical hospital that gives easy-to-read and easy-to-use general health info, says, unfortunately, there is no good research to say for sure if diet helps fibroids. They are very hard to treat right now.

The National Institutes of Health is currently doing a big fibroid study to try to figure out better diagnosis and treatment techniques. You can find details here:

Ultimtately, diet can't hurt, but be wary of any source that says you should 1. shell out a lot of money for a "miracle cure" and 2. gets down on modern medicine without backing up its claims with hard evidence.
