I'm traveling the US via JetBlue with its pass to promote a social networking website I'm launching for college students.

JetBlue allows a month of travel with its all you can jet pass. If I travel to 16 cities, I will only be able to stay on average 2 days in each city.

My Questions:

1. Which Colleges or Universities should I visit in the cities listed in red on the map and why?
2. Which Colleges and Universities are closest to the airports in each of the cities, and how far are they?
3. Am I missing any cities that I should visit along the way, and if so which ones am I missing, and which college or university should I visit at city?
4. Are there any cities I should remove from the list for any reason?

I don't have the answers for everything but I can offer the ones for my neck of the woods in western New York. I'm also going to assume mostly "mainstream" schools

I also found http://www.multiplotr.com which lets you plug in multple locations into a custom google map - you need an account to save maps but I'll post the code you need to generate a map with the school locations relitive to the airport.

In Syracuse, University of Syracuse is probably a must-stop (they've got the big NCAA sports teams). If you have the time and means to drive a little you should also considder hitting up Cornell University in Ithaca NY, which is under 2 hours driving. I don't know anything about Onendaga Community College but it might not hurt to look into it.

map code:
-----
~43.0357908, -76.1297734|Syracuse University|Red|Colleges
~43.0016274, -76.1945777|Onondaga Community College|Red|Colleges

~43.1136233, -76.1181962|Syracuse Airport|Blue|Airport

In Rochester you have probably more choices. Rochester Institute of Technology and University of Rochester are the bigger private schools and Monroe Community College is also sizable enough to be worth visiting, a lot of 2+2 program students go on to other schools from there. Oh, and SUNY Brockport, which is just a bit further out than the others but technicaly a suburb of Rochester. Nazereth College and St John Fisher College are sizeable private schools, though as the name suggests they're the ones with a religous bent; I don't know your marketing plan so I leave that in the air for you. SUNY Geneseo is more rural but sizeable and only about 30 minutes driving. Alfred State and SUNY Alfred are two hours in the same direction but probably not as worth the extra time as much as Cornell with its big name would be.

map code:

~43.128363, -77.668126|Rochester Airport|Blue|Airport
~43.1577533, -77.6094036|SUNY Brockport|Red|Colleges

You'll be better off letting lots of people answer parts of the question that they can best answer, giving the different people smaller, seperate tips and the best answer tip as a bonus for a particularly good one. To cover every city on that map like I did for just two would be a day project for one person, and few people are going to be willing to do that unless you up the tip considerably.

I would hit Nashville. Nashville is home to Vanderbilt, Belmont, and Fisk University and 30 minutes away is MTSU which has the states largest student body.

In D.C. your probably planning on landing at Reagan National airport rather than Dulles because it's proximity to the city and will want to hit Georgetown, Howard, GWU, etc.

Your full question is too big for me; but, I see that you are including Charlotte and Austin. You could fit New Orleans as a stop between those two and thereby fit in Tulane and UNO, and maybe Xavier.
